Based on ‘’Our Friends’’ Corporate Social Responsibility pillar and inspired by UN Development Goal 4 – Quality Education, Leschaco continues its commitment to supporting educational initiatives in India for the second consecutive year. Through strategic partnerships and collaborative efforts, Leschaco aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children where it operates.
One of the key partnerships that Leschaco has established is with the National Association for the Blind (NAB). Through this partnership, Leschaco supports initiatives aimed at providing visually impaired children with access to education. By empowering teachers with the necessary skills and resources, NAB ensures that blind students receive the support they need to thrive academically.
Recently, representatives from Leschaco had the privilege of participating in NAB's Holi Festival event, which celebrates the cultural tradition of throwing colored water and powder. This event not only fosters a sense of joy and friendship, but also promotes inclusivity for blind and multiple disabled students.
In addition to its collaboration with NAB, Leschaco is proud to support the Akshay Patra Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving health and school attendance by providing meals at schools. Through this partnership, Leschaco contributes to the holistic development of children by ensuring they have access to nutritious meals during their school day. Recently, representatives from Leschaco visited one of the municipal schools designated for meal distribution through Akshay Patra. This hands-on experience allowed them to witness firsthand the impact of their support on the lives of students.
Furthermore, Leschaco's representatives visited the Akshay Patra Foundation Kitchen located in Panvel, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. By engaging directly with the facilities and personnel involved in meal preparation, Leschaco reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote education and well-being in India.
