The company was founded on February 1, 1988, in Bogotá as Coltrans S.A.S. Its offices were initially located in Centro 93, and it started with 5 employees, including the founders, an accountant and 2 salesmen.

In its beginnings, Coltrans was a cargo agency mainly inclined to handle exports because its largest businesses were concentrated in perishables, basically flowers, which is why it was decided to complete the procedure to obtain the IATA certificate. Later it was decided to expand the market and like this it was managed to obtain clients not only for export but also for import, thereby achieving the foray into the coordination of shipments of general merchandise.

In 1991, the Centro 93 offices were moved to a warehouse next to the El Dorado International Airport. The warehouse no. 18 is located in the El Dorado Business Center, where it continues its operations until today.

Over the years offices in other Colombian cities were opened. 1996 in Medellín, 1998 in Cali, 2000 in Barranquilla, 2002 in Pereira, 2003 in Bucaramanga and 2007 in Cartagena.

In 2022 the company joined the Leschaco group, and in July 2024 Coltrans S.A.S. changed its name officially to Leschaco Colombia S.A.S.

The services offer international logistics coordination for different trading activities around the world, including import and export in various transportation modalities (Air, Sea, Land and combined), FCL and LCL.

The offices in the cities of Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Pereira, Buenaventura and Cartagena offer national coverage.
