Constantin Conrad officially assumes responsibility as Chief Executive Officer for the Leschaco Group. Constantin Conrad was already appointed to the management of the group of companies in July 2019 and became sole managing director and shareholder with power of representation in August 2021. He has already been involved in various functions in the company at home and abroad since 2017.
Oliver Oestreich, Chief Operating Officer and member of the Management Board of the Leschaco Group, will retire in April 2024 after more than 21 years with the company. During this time, Oliver Oestreich has successfully supported the Conrad family in the expansion of the Leschaco Group. In view of his long service to the company and his contributions to the group, Leschaco is planning a longer transition period. Oliver Oestreich will be succeeded by Nils Fahrenholz, who will become part of the Management Board as Incoming Chief Operating Officer on April 01, 2023. He will take over Oliver Oestreich's position as COO on April 01, 2024.
Nils Fahrenholz, who has been Managing Director of Leschaco Singapore since April 01, 2021, brings with him a wealth of experience from the group of companies, where he has already held various senior positions and driven the development of Leschaco. He started his training as a forwarding agent at Leschaco in 2004. In the summer of 2008, he moved to Leschaco, Inc. in Jersey City, USA. He then moved to Hong Kong in February 2017, where he assumed responsibility for Regional Procurement and Tender Management APAC. Before assuming his duties as Managing Director of Leschaco Singapore, Nils Fahrenholz returned to the Bremen headquarters in July 2019 to take over responsibility as Head of Freight Procurement & Intermodal EMEAI.
Steffen Küpper has been promoted to Chief People and Culture Officer and will in future be part of the Leschaco Group's Management Board. In this area, he is responsible for global HR, communication and organisational development. Steffen Küpper joined the group on October 01, 2022 as Head of Global Human Capital. He has 17 years of professional experience, mainly in human resources. After studying in Heidelberg and Montpellier and passing his second state law examination, he started his career at L'Oréal Germany in Düsseldorf, where he held various management positions in Germany, Austria and France for over 14 years, most recently in Paris as HR Director Europe for the Pharmacies division. In 2020, he moved to the Red Bull headquarters in Salzburg, where he was responsible as Global Head of HR for the Soccer International division with subsidiaries in Europe, Brazil and the USA.
With this senior leadership, the future of Leschaco is secured in the long term with clear structures. "It is our common goal to further develop the Group as a value-oriented Hanseatic family business and to make it fit for the future in an increasingly dynamic and complex world," explains Constantin Conrad. The Management Board is looking forward to continuing on the course already set for the year 2030 along a clearly formulated vision and strategy together with the people who work at Leschaco and are committed to customer satisfaction every day, and to further expanding its position as a globally active logistics service provider.
