Leschaco expands its worldwide location network

The globally operating logistics service provider Leschaco (Lexzau, Scharbau GmbH & Co. KG) opens new branch offices in Japan and the USA and thus expands its worldwide location network further.

Bremen/Osaka/Los Angeles – December 2016. Already in April of this year Leschaco opened a new branch office in Miami, and thus widened its services for the growing business with Latin America. With the opening of a new office in Los Angeles in January of the coming year, the Group of companies continues to push ahead its expansion of their locations in the USA. With the new branch office in Los Angeles Leschaco will broaden its US services, in particular on the American West Coast and is thus represented through 19 locations in North and South America. 

Leschaco, Inc., USA, was founded in Houston in 1978, where it still has its headquarters today. With offices in Houston, Charleston, Jersey City, Miami and Los Angeles, Leschaco, Inc. is ideally positioned. As the Competence Center for tank container operations for North and South America, the Houston branch also fulfills a double function

In Asia, the second major growth region, the logistics service provider invests in the widening of the network of branch offices, too. Already in December of this year Leschaco Japan K.K. will open a new branch office in Osaka. “Through our presence in Osaka we will intensify our business with existing customers in western Japan and intend to develop new business areas at the same time. The opening of the Osaka branch office will present new opportunities to grow and service our increasing customer demand.“, said Mr. Jörg Conrad, owner and CEO of the Leschaco Group. Leschaco Japan K.K., Tokyo, was founded in 1995. As a leading service provider in chemical logistics, Leschaco Japan offers sea and air freight solutions in compliance with international hazmat regulations. The tank container is an important part of the portfolio. Leschaco Japan acts as competence centre, being responsible for pricing and fleet management of the group's tank container activities in Asia. With the opening of this new branch office, the Leschaco Group is represented in 10 countries in Asia with a total of 35 locations.
