In a vibrant effort to enhance their local environment, Leschaco Mexicana, in collaboration with the Miguel Hidalgo Delegation, today planted flowers in the alleyway sponsored by Leschaco Mexico.
The initiative, which received official permission from the Miguel Hidalgo Delegation, aims to bring a touch of springtime beauty to a heavily transited area, benefiting the thousands of people who pass through it daily.
Spearheaded by the Climate Action (by #WeCare) community, this marks the first planting activity of the spring season for the Leschaco-supported green space.
"Bring Color to Spring" and "Help Us Green the Central Reservation!" The call to action was met with enthusiasm, as volunteers gathered to contribute to this visual improvement.
Leschaco Mexicana also provided important considerations for participants, advising them to wear appropriate clothing such as a change of clothes, cap, jeans, and a long-sleeved shirt. Additionally, they were reminded to bring water bottles and sunscreen for their comfort and safety during the planting activity.
By focusing on the aesthetic improvement of a well-used public space, both entities are contributing to a more pleasant and visually appealing environment for the large number of individuals who traverse the "Leschaco Mexico alleyway" each day.
Leschaco Mexicana provided all necessary tools and gloves for the volunteers. The dedicated gardener who maintains the central reservation was also on hand to offer guidance and ensure the activity was carried out responsibly and carefully.
This collaborative project between Leschaco Mexicana and the Miguel Hidalgo Delegation highlights the positive impact of corporate social responsibility and public-private partnerships.
