We are very proud to share the results of the food collection initiative during the recent XVI Symposium on Transport & Logistics with a Cause.
Under the slogan "Feeding the Future of Mexico", we joined forces through the "Kilos for Nutrition" campaign, an initiative that is part of the essence of the internal communities at Leschaco Mexicana.
On this occasion, we want to highlight the participation of the Cooking Club community, led by Erika Cervantes, who was a key player in promoting this collection.
Likewise, we extend a special thanks to Patricia Grajales, who was directly present at the event ensuring the success of the dynamics.
Thanks to the generosity of the clients, suppliers, and collaborators, we collected nearly 500 kilograms of food. Although the initial goal was one ton, this first exercise was a total success in terms of participation.
This achievement was also possible thanks to the support of the following teams:
Sales: For reinforcing the message with the clients.
Procurement: For the constant management with the suppliers.
The donation was delivered to the Food Bank Network of Mexico (RedBAMX) to benefit more than 600 people. The participation made the difference!
