At Leschaco, we are dedicated to Our Friends in Our Communities, actively contributing to SDG 4: Quality Education through strategic investments in educational initiatives and partnerships. 

Leschaco Vietnam has sponsored the Young Summit program, facilitated by Viethope, a non-profit organization with a commendable 20-year history in the field of education. Our partnership with Viethope aims at providing scholarships and fostering skill development for underprivileged Vietnamese students to support them overcome challenges through the power of education.

The Young Development Program Summit (YDPS) held in HCMC and Can Tho province of Vietnam took place from July 29th to August 5th and hosted over 40 university students from disadvantaged backgrounds, some of whom have faced barriers to education due to familial circumstances or economic hardships.

The program's objective was to help students practice essential skills such as communication, presentation, teamwork, critical thinking, project management, and debate - all pivotal proficiencies that hold practical significance in the real world. An impressive highlight was the participation of YDP's alumni, former beneficiaries of the Viethope scholarship. They returned as sponsors and shared about their transformative journeys being a source of insipration for the current Viethope generation of students.

At the end of the program, students were tasked with formulating proposals, applying the knowledge and skills they had acquired to practical scenarios. The program's final day was a celebration, marked by words of encouragement, and a powerful feeling of motivation among the participants.
