Leschaco Chile recently hosted a successful Environmental Week, filled with activities aimed at promoting sustainability and raising awareness about the importance of recycling.
Throughout the week, employees were encouraged to participate in various initiatives, including:
Plastic bottle recycling: Collection points were set up throughout the office to encourage employees to recycle their plastic bottles.
Used cooking oil recycling: Employees were provided with information on how to properly dispose of used cooking oil and encouraged to bring it to designated collection points.
Recycling webinar: A comprehensive webinar was held to educate employees about the importance of recycling in general, with a focus on plastic and used cooking oil recycling processes and benefits.
The week culminated in a beach cleanup activity in collaboration with the Chilean Navy.
Over 30 participants, including Leschaco employees, their families, and friends, joined forces to collect and sort trash along the coastline. The Chilean Navy provided guidance and support throughout the cleanup effort.
