Our Colleagues Run the Terminal to Support Manzanillo Schools

On Sunday, November 9th, the Leschaco Manzanillo team demonstrated its enduring commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by participating in the 8th Contecon Manzanillo Charity Race. 

This event is a pillar of community support in the city, aligning perfectly with Leschaco's focus on giving back to the regions where we operate.

Running with a Clear Cause:

This year's race had an especially meaningful objective: 100% of the registration fees are dedicated to altruistic work focused on improving the educational facilities in the Manzanillo community.

Our enthusiastic group of Leschaco colleagues joined thousands of runners, navigating the unique course that included sections within the FONDEPORT Industrial Park and the terminal itself. 

They ran the 5.5 km and 10 km races, and participated in the 3 km Family Walk, knowing that every step they took translated into a direct opportunity to provide children and young people with a better space to learn and grow.

A Lasting Impact on Education:

The participation of the Leschaco Manzanillo team reinforces our core value of social responsibility. By supporting the Contecon Charity Race, we are directly contributing to a legacy of improved infrastructure and educational resources for local schools.
