Last Monday, the solidarity of Leschaco Mexicana reached Toluca to support the Corazón Canino shelter. This visit was much more than a donation delivery; it was the beginning of a meaningful bond with an admirable project led by Adriana, who is personally building this sanctuary out of wood after training herself in sustainable construction.
A Project Built with Heart and Hard Work
Corazón Canino is currently home to 21 dogs and 22 cats. Adriana’s vision is unique: she is transforming a donated plot of land into a dignified home using eco-friendly wooden structures. While the project is underway, there is still much to be done to complete this safe haven for her rescues.

Responsible Adoption: To ensure a healthy start in their new homes, the shelter ensures that all pets are vaccinated and dewormed at the time of adoption.
Green Farewells (Pet Composting): In a beautiful gesture of environmental respect, the shelter offers a service to turn pet ashes into memorial compost, allowing life to continue through nature. This service is available to everyone, regardless of where the pet was adopted.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to Dalia Gutiérrez and, most importantly, to her family, who provided the logistical support to transport and deliver the bags of kibble, beds, litter, and accessories collected by our team.
