Demonstrating their commitment to social responsibility, a team of 25 enthusiastic Leschaco Mexico employees participated in the second annual "Carrera Ammper por la Red BAMX" on Sunday, June 8th, in Mexico City. The event, which offered 5k and 10k race options, brought together individuals and organizations to support the crucial work of the Red de Bancos de Alimentos de México (BAMX).

The Leschaco team, proudly sporting their company colors, joined hundreds of other runners in the scenic Bosque de Chapultepec to raise funds and awareness for BAMX's mission to combat hunger and food waste in Mexico. The funds generated from the race will be dedicated to installing solar panels in BAMX facilities, a sustainable initiative aimed at reducing operational costs and allowing more resources to be allocated directly to food assistance programs.

This event marks the beginning of a promising alliance between Leschaco Mexico and BAMX. As a global logistics and transportation service provider, Leschaco is dedicated to contributing positively to the communities it serves. 

This budding partnership with BAMX, a non-profit organization that rescues food to distribute among families, communities, and institutions in need, is a significant step in Leschaco's local Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts. 

By focusing on food security and reducing hunger, this collaboration directly aligns with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2: Zero Hunger.

The initiative was met with enthusiasm by the Leschaco participants, who were eager to contribute to a cause that aligns with the company's values. 

The event not only promoted physical well-being among employees but also fostered a sense of unity and shared purpose in giving back to the community. Leschaco Mexico looks forward to building on this momentum and continuing to support BAMX in their invaluable work.
