Our Road to Zero
As a logistics company, a sustainable approach to our environment is particularly important to us. Reducing our greenhouse gas emissions to a minimum and investing in environmental projects are personal concerns of ours and an important part of our 2030 strategy.
In order to continuously improve, our global CO2e footprint is recorded annually. Based on the results, we work with climate experts to develop measures which aim to reduce our direct and indirect emissions.
We already purchase electricity from renewable energy sources in all our companies in the EMEAI region. The Americas and APAC will follow by 2027 at the latest. Not only are we investing in the conversion of our company vehicle fleet and the installation of charging stations for electric cars, we are also incentivizing climate-neutral mobility for our employees. Both on business trips and on their way to work. These measures are applied to business trips as well as the daily commute to work.
As a logistics company, we are aware that a large proportion of our indirect emissions are caused by transportation. As NVOCC, we are in constant communication with our service providers and are thereby actively driving change in our industry. We already offer our customers a transparent overview of their transport emissions on our "Visible" Portal and provide advice on environmentally friendly alternatives.
