As part of our ongoing commitment to social responsibility and sustainability, Leschaco Brazil is proud to announce a new partnership with Mesa Brasil Sesc, a network of food banks dedicated to reducing food waste and fighting hunger across Brazil. This collaboration follows an inspiring awareness session held on March 6th, via Teams, where team members learned about the critical work Mesa Brasil is doing and how we can collectively make a difference.

The informative session, "Webinar | Conscientização Alimentar" (Food Awareness Webinar), highlighted Mesa Brasil's mission, structure, and the significant impact they are making. Key takeaways included the massive scope of their operations, reaching thousands of social institutions and millions of individuals in need by redistributing surplus food.

Taking Action in Brazil: Our Donation Drive

To translate this awareness into concrete action, Leschaco Brazil has launched an official donation campaign running from March 6th to April 4th.

Dedicated collection boxes have been placed in our offices across. 

Our team members are already making a difference by donating essential items, including dry goods (rice, beans, pasta), basic food baskets, and personal hygiene or cleaning products. To ensure the safety of those receiving the help, all donations are being checked for expiration dates and original packaging integrity.

The first contributions are already being gathered for delivery to Sesc Mesa Brasil, proving that at Leschaco, a simple gesture can help feed many stories.
