In June 2023, the Leschaco football team proudly participated in the K+Q Cup held in Bremen, demonstrating their commitment to supporting the local community and making a positive impact. The K+Q Cup, organized by the Wirtschaftsjunioren Bremen, brings together businesses and non-profit organizations through the power of sport. Teams from various companies compete against each other, with entrance fees donated to assigned non-profit organizations.
The Leschaco football team comprised nine enthusiastic players who eagerly embraced the opportunity to participate in the K+Q Cup. The tournament brought together teams from diverse business sectors, creating an atmosphere of friendly competition and camaraderie. Throughout the event, Leschaco played a total of five matches, including three preliminary rounds and two final rounds, showcasing their skills and dedication on the football field.
With each game, the Leschaco team demonstrated remarkable motivation and gave their all to achieve the best possible results. While they fell short in the final match against CHS-Container, their spirit remained high, knowing that their participation would contribute to a greater cause. As part of our participation in the K+Q Cup, Leschaco was assigned the Trauerland NGO as our designated organization to support. Trauerland is dedicated to providing crucial assistance and support to bereaved children and adolescents who have experienced the profound loss of a parent at a young age. The funds raised through the event will enable Trauerland to continue their essential work, offering these children an opportunity for healing, growth, and renewed hope. Leschaco's contribution will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most, empowering them to build a brighter future.
