Emile Goossens brings more than 30 years of international experience in the logistics industry. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg at DB Schenker. In this role, he led a finance organization of 30 employees across 30 locations, supporting more than 3,400 employees. His professional background combines strong financial expertise with broad general management experience, including a nine-month assignment as Interim CEO of DB Schenker Benelux.
Throughout his career, Emile Goossens has successfully delivered numerous complex transformation projects, integrated finance functions into shared-service structures, and implemented modern reporting and IT systems. He has a proven track record of sustainably improving the financial performance of demanding business units through disciplined financial management, transparent governance, and close collaboration with operational teams. His leadership style is characterized by integrity, clarity, and a strong people focus, aligning closely with Leschaco’s values and long-term objectives.
The appointment comes at a time when Leschaco is consistently advancing the implementation of its Strategy 2030, introduced in 2021, and is achieving increasingly visible progress in the transformation of its business model, organizational structure, and corporate culture. The selection process for the CFO position was deliberately focused on stability and long-term continuity.
