Meet Diana Alarcón, Key Account Manager & Professor

Today, we celebrate Diana Alarcón from Leschaco Mexicana, who is not only a strategic partner for our customers as a KAM but also a dedicated educator shaping the next generation of logistics experts.

Every weekend at UAEM Cuautitlán Izcalli, Diana leads her third generation of students through a specialized Diploma in Customs Management & Supply Chain. 

 

A Flash Interview with Diana

1. Diana, what is it that you love most about teaching Customs Management and Supply Chain to new generations?

  • I think, that the opportunity to share practical knowledge and see how students start connecting theory with real-world logistics challenges. When I began teaching, I discovered how rewarding education can be. Watching students grow, ask questions, and gain confidence in their professional path is truly inspiring.

2. As a KAM at Leschaco Mexicana, how does your daily “real-world” experience enrich your classes?

  • Working as a Key Account Manager allows me to bring real industry experiences into the classroom. Logistics and customs are constantly evolving, so sharing real cases and challenges helps students better understand how supply chains operate in practice and prepares them for the real professional world.

3. Quality Education is a key pillar for us. What message would you give to colleagues who are considering sharing their specialized knowledge with their community?

  • I would definitely encourage them to do it. Sharing knowledge is a meaningful way to give back to our industry and support the next generation of professionals. Teaching has also been a great personal learning experience, as students bring curiosity, fresh perspectives, and new ideas.
