On the morning of Sunday, July 7th, the weather was perfect for the Huttons x OneMillionTrees Sustainability Walk 2024, attracting over 1,200 participants from various companies. Organized by Huttons Singapore, the largest private real estate agency in the country, the event aimed to promote environmental sustainability and support Singapore's goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 through the OneMillionTrees movement led by NParks. This nationwide initiative seeks to plant one million trees across Singapore, with funds raised benefiting the Garden City Fund, a registered charity established by NParks.

Leschaco Singapore seized the opportunity to participate enthusiastically in this prominent initiative, with 17 of our employees joining in. Despite encountering light rain at times during the walk, our team persevered together, completing an impressive total distance of 85 kilometers. This achievement symbolizes our unity and collective determination.

The event not only promoted employee well-being, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 on Good Health and Well-being, but also contributed to expanding green spaces, in alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goal 13 on Climate Action.
