On February 22-23, 2022, Leschaco Thailand hosted an unforgettable company outing, incorporating a CSR activity to promote environmental awareness and engagement among our employees. This initiative aligned with our global sustainability goals, Our Planet, and aimed to inspire collective action in preserving the environment.
As part of the outing, we organized a Beach Cleaning Event at Ban Amphoe Beach, Pattaya, where 250 employees and their families actively participated in cleaning up the beach and making a positive impact on the local environment. Despite the hot weather, everyone worked together with smiles and enthusiasm, turning the event into a fun and fulfilling experience for all.
By integrating this CSR activity into the company outing, we enabled every employee to get directly involved in something meaningful, fostering a sense of shared responsibility.
Key Results:
- Total Waste Collected: 15 kg
- Recycling: 5 kg was carefully sorted and transferred to the relevant parties for recycling.
- General Waste: 6 kg was thoroughly sorted to ensure proper disposal.
- Wet Waste: 4 kg was transformed into compost for use by municipal departments in supporting green initiatives.
In addition, we donated 12 trash bins and waste collection equipment to continue supporting the local community's waste management efforts.
This CSR activity not only reflected Leschaco Thailand’s commitment to environmental sustainability but also demonstrated the importance of every individual’s contribution toward a cleaner, greener planet. By engaging employees and their families in these meaningful initiatives, we encourage a deeper understanding of environmental issues and the significant role we all play in creating a sustainable future.
