10th Symposium "Logistics & Transport"

Leschaco

This event started at 7:00 am in the Hotel Marquis Reforma/Mexico City with a breakfast buffet for all guests followed by presentations and panel discussions, addressing topics such as "The New Course of the Maritime Container Industry", "The Orientation of Mexican Foreign Trade in the Current Global Overview"; "The Impact of Insecurity on Freight Transport in Mexico; "The New Era of Digital Customs" and "The Growth of India: Obstacles and Opportunities".
Speakers and specialized panelists of the highest level attended the invitation of Leschaco Mexicana to offer information and knowledge and enter an open and fruitful discussion with the audience.

In addition to the presentations, the 350 guests, representing about 120 companies from different industrial sectors, enjoyed an Indian dance, which was part of the traditional Odissi Dance repertoire. Three dancers and three musicians were presented with traditional instruments, Sitar, Tabla and Tampura. After Brazil, China and Germany, India has been the fourth country invited by Leschaco, because of the survey conducted each year among the attendees. During the panel discussion about the growth of India, the Ambassador of India in Mexico, Mr. Muktesh K. Pardeshi, was among the distinguished speakers.

Another highlight of the Symposium was the collection of 60,000 pesos (3,235 USD) among all participants, money that will go to the purchase of specialized wheelchairs for children suffering from Cerebral Palsy. For more than one year Leschaco Mexicana has been focusing on social projects through its initiative "Leschaco Por Mas".

As in previous years, the event was closed with a raffle and a cocktail reception including live music, offering surprises and maintaining an open dialogue between all guests.

"We are very pleased to have reached the tenth edition of our Symposium "Logistics and Transport" which was initially an event exclusively focused on the Chemical Industry and which has become one of the most relevant and well-known logistics conferences in the Mexican market over the years", concluded Martin Sack, Managing Director of Leschaco Mexicana.
